Ch. Pattichis (Manufacturing Chemists) successors to C.K. Pattichis established in 1878, starts the production of medical and industrial gases.
Pharmaceutical research and development is initiated together with trials on the use of herbs and plant extracts including Lithospasto.
The company becomes a private limited company under the name of Pattichis Chemical Company Ltd and moves to its present, purpose-built premises.
The production of top quality GMP pharmaceuticals begins.
Pattichis Chemical Company Ltd grants rights to Remedica Ltd to produce and market pharmaceutical products.
After an on-site inspection by the Bundesgesundheitsamt (BGA, German Federal Health Authorities), Remedica receives approval to export its products to the West German market.
Remedica’s contribution to world health is recognised by the presentation of The Cyprus Export Award for Industry for 1989.
Remedica is inspected and approved for the second time by the German Federal Health Authorities.
Successful inspection by the United Kingdom's Medicines Control Agency confirm Remedica’s adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practice.
The Danish Health Authorities inspect Remedica's premises and certify compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice.
Remedica’s contribution to world health is again recognised by the presentation of The Cyprus Export Award for Industry for 1995.
Another successful inspection by the United Kingdom's Medicines Control Agency reconfirm Remedica’s adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practice.
Remedica is once again awarded The Cyprus Special Export Award for 1998.
Remedica passes another inspection from Germany. All computerised systems are successfully tested for Y2K compliance.
2001
Remedica receives The Cyprus Export Award for 2000.
Remedica is presented with the 2004 Quality Award
Remedica
